FlashForge Creator Pro 3D Printer Review
Flashforge Creator Pro is a new, popular and top-quality 3D printer with a load of great features and a great design. It uses a dual extruder, it creates good quality builds and it’s very reliable. The metal frame of the model is really sturdy and reliable, and ensures durability, while the aluminium plate is thick, so it won’t warp or bend while you print, even with high temperatures.
This structure all in all is built for reliability, so if you’re seeking something that will give you good prints on a regular basis, it’s a really good option. The sturdiness of the structure also means that the model can print faster, so it’s a good step up from the previous model, and can print up to 60% quicker than before. It’s reasonably priced for something of this much quality, and it’s a good option if you’re a beginner or intermediate.
The dual extruder design is versatile and adjustable, so you can print a variety of different models. The 3-point levelling system on the bed makes adjusting the printing bed a much faster process, which makes it way better than lots of other 3D printers on the market. Where many 3D bed printers are difficult to adjust, this one is pretty simple. It also has a spacious build area, with dimensions of 9”x7”x5.7”.
It also gets the job done quietly, so if you’re seeking a near-silent build, this is a great choice. Most users really like prints that come from this machine, and over time, once you really get to grips with the process, it can create some really impressive stuff, with high-quality builds and a lot of consistency.
For a low-cost, entry-level model that creates really good builds, you can’t really find much better than this one. That said, it can take a lot of patience to really get the best out of this machine. It is somewhat difficult to perfect your prints at first, and can be hard to set it up and get it working.
The build of the model itself isn’t as simple as some others on the market. The instructions that come with the machine are a little poor, and might be overwhelming if this is your first foray into 3D printing. The extruders can also be a little unreliable on occasion, and the durability isn’t the best that you’ll find on the market.
Overall, if you’re happy to be patient and show some perseverance, this is a really great model if you’re new – or fairly new – to the 3D printing game. The models you can create are fantastic, the dual extruder design is set up to anticipate future changes in printing, and the build quality is very good. Although it can take a little while to master, you won’t find better for beginners or intermediates at this price. It works well, it works fast, and it creates fantastic models.
